Adrenomedullin peptides

PeptaNova offers 9 different Adrenomedullin peptides or adrenomedullin peptide fragments including the Proadrenomedullin N-terminal 20 Peptide | PAMP
The 1993 described human Adrenomedullin (AM) is a potent vasoactive polypeptide composed by 52 amino acid residues and may be seriously involved in the pathophysiology of chronic heart failure.
Five Adrenomedullin peptides were cloned and identified from pufferfish. Three of these are counterparts of the well known mammalian Adrenomedullin sequences.
Proadrenomedullin N-terminal 20 peptide (PAMP) – the gene related peptide of Adrenomedullin – shows significant higher activity than the related Adrenomedullin.
All offered adrenomedullin and proadrenomedullin peptides (PAMP) are total synthetic peptides made by solid phase peptide synthesis and are not manufactured by recombinant methods.
Adrenomedullin with the human or the rat sequence, as well as the N-terminal adrenomedullin fragment AM (human, 1-25) are examined for biological activity by the pharmacological division of Peptide Institute Inc.
