Synthetic Product

2-NBDG 2-[N-(7-Nitrobenz-2-Oxa- 1,3-Diazol-4-yl)Amino]- 2-Deoxy-D-Glucose is a very useful fluorescent indicator for the direct monitoring of glucose uptake into living cells. The easy to use flow cytometric assay is based on direct incubation of mammalian cells with 2-NBDG.
